The BQTA and the EUATC

The Belgian Quality Translation Association and the EUATC.

The BQTA is a member of the European Union of Associations of Translation Companies, EUATC. This organisation, which was founded in 1994, represents translation companies in numerous European countries. In particular, the EUATC is recognised by the Commission and takes part in the European translation platform set up by DG XIII.

Each member affiliated to the EUATC appoints two representatives to attend EUATC meetings. As a result, the BQTA is well represented within this important organisation and has its say in European affairs which affect the future of translation in Europe.
